skills? Learn how to improve diction, both in-person and on the
telephone, grammar and speaking style to communicate more effectively
with others! This class covers the basics of non-verbal communication
and networking as well. The contents may also be covered in Individual
Speech Coaching.
Customer Service Training: Employees will learn telephone etiquette, how and why to empathize with
customers' feelings, listening training, ways of saying "no" as diplomatically
and gently as possible, professional phrasing and more! Customized half-day and full-day options available. Contact us for further information on the program and fees.
Inter-generational Communication:
Learn how each generational group thinks and how to persuade them!
Whether you sell products or services to them, or need them as employees
or volunteers, learn what motivates each group. Class is 1.5 hours.
Customer Communication for the Technically Talented:
This four-hour class is for technical experts who want to improve their
customer communication skills. The course includes a communication style
self-assessment, communication strategies, professional phrasing,
understanding needs, and reading non-verbal communication. This class
includes a telephone conference beforehand with a manager, to address
any specific corporate issues. This class is scheduled on request only
by corporations, minimum class size of 10.
Communication Consulting for Trials: Specialized communication consulting covering persuasion, voice, pronunciation,
inter-generational touch-points and other issues is offered for lawyers
preparing for upcoming trials or other legal presentations.
Physician-Patient Communication
Poor communication skills cause many issues between patients and physicians.
In this one hour class, learn how to elicit questions from your patients
so that fewer follow-up calls and visits may be required. In addition,
learn how to modify your communication style more effectively with
clients with various handicaps. This well-received one hour class is
available on request only.
Individual Executive Coaching on Communication:
Whether the issues are coaching for upcoming presentations, sales
communication, accent modification, persuasion, delegating, listening
skills, diction, lip-reading or other verbal communication concerns,
this coaching offers choices between intensive full-day, half-day, or
hourly individual sessions. Early morning appointments are also
available. When requesting this program, please explain both the
communication issue involved and your time frame. This practical class
is customized for the needs of the busy executive or other professional!
