Speech/Language Services for Children, Teens and Adults
Speech/Language Therapy is offered with an emphasis on teaching parents and other
family members how to work with their children at home between sessions.
Services include assessment and therapy for speech and language impairments.
These include difficulties with social language and organizational skills commonly experienced by people with disorders such as ADHD and Aspergers, among others.
Therapy is also available for lip-reading or aural rehabilitation instruction, for people with hearing losses.
Fees are paid at the time of service. Insurance is not accepted; however, families
are encouraged to file for any possible reimbursement on their own.

Language Development Training
Training for parents and young children provides coaching
on effective techniques to improve language skills. This is individually scheduled for hour-long sessions and
includes a brief discussion of child language goals. This service is especially appropriate for first-time parents and for those who would like ways to enrich their child's knowledge.
Public Speaking for Teens
This is a three session course for teens on techniques to overcome "stage fright", write and deliver simple presentations. Groups may request a course
be offered for their members only. The maximum group size is six.
Interviewing/Inter-personal Skills for Teens
This three session class is for those
who are shy and planning college or scholarship interviews. It can be scheduled for individuals as well as small groups.
